It is our hope that this website gives you an idea of what our items look like...although, in this case, smelling is believing. If we only had scratch & sniff computer screens--it would make this all so much easier! :)
Ordering Information
HOW CAN I ORDER? Orders are accepted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on line. You are also welcome to email us with questions, or you can call in your order. If we are unable to take your call at that particular time, we will return your call as soon as possible. If you live in our area, you can also check our "Scheduled Shows" page to see where you may purchase our items directly or visit us at a show or Open House.
WHAT CAN I ORDER ON LINE? All listed products on our website are available for order. We do have several items that are not shown on our website, so we encourage you to stop by an Open House or bazaar to see other available items. If there is a particular item that you know we have available, but don't see listed on our website, please email or call us to discuss purchase options and availability.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR MY ORDER TO BE PROCESSED? Most orders normally ship within 3-4 days of receipt. Special order items and the holiday season may take longer to process and you will be notified with a time. Please note that all homemade items are handmade personally by me. In the event that I sell out of an item prior to having an opportunity to update my website, I will notify you so we may discuss an alternate item or extended waiting time. Very large orders may require extra lead time. PLEASE NOTE THAT OCT-DEC IS MY "BUSY SEASON". ORDERS MAY TAKE 10 DAYS, DEPENDING UPON SCHEDULE AND ORDER VOLUME. THANK YOU.
HOW DO YOU SHIP? We ONLY ship using USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation to all states outside of Alaska and Alaskan locations that aren't on the road system from Anchorage. Priority mail usually takes 2-3 business days to arrive once the item is shipped. We only ship within the 50 United States. We do not charge any handling or packaging fees, only actual shipping costs. Please note that shipping costs are an ESTIMATE at the time of your order. We will email you with exact shipping prior to the final charges on your credit card. If you have prepaid by Paypal, you will be issued a refund if you have been overcharged for shipping or you will receive an email for additional approval if extra shipping fees are due. We will always use the least expensive method to get your items safely to you, utilizing USPS Flat Rate Priority boxes if it saves you money. If you would like insurance, please note that on your order or contact me for a quote. If you are on the road system in Alaska, then it is possible for your order to be shipped UPS and will often be offered as a less expensive (and quicker) alternative.
DO YOU OFFER LOCAL PICKUP OR DELIVERY? If you live within the greater Wasilla, Palmer, Eagle River or Anchorage areas, it may be possible to arrange for pick up or delivery of your items at no charge. Please indicate on your order in the comments section, or call or email us to inquire about arrangements. We cannot guarantee immediate delivery of items, but will try to accomodate all reasonable requests. You are also encouraged to look over our "Scheduled Shows" page to attend an Open House or other event and take immediate delivery at that time on most items. Please note that during our busy season, we will possibly have scheduled delivery days for your area.
WHAT PAYMENT METHODS TO YOU ACCEPT? We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover securely through PayPal for online orders. You no longer have to have a PayPal account in order to pay in this manner. This is our preferred payment method. We also accept Visa and Mastercard securely through our encrypted shopping cart online, or if you prefer, you may call in your credit card number to us as we do accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover through our regular business account. Regular email is not always secure, so please do not send your credit card information by regular email. You may also prepay with personal check or money order. However, orders will NOT be shipped until they have cleared the bank. All orders are to be paid in full with shipping costs prior to delivery. Returned checks will incur a $25 processing fee. No Sales Tax will be necessary if ordered on line.
WHAT ARE YOUR RETURN POLICIES? We sincerely hope that you are happy with all items purchased from us, but we do have a policy "just in case". Please contact us via email if you wish to return an item. Refunds are only accepted on defective items. Not liking a color or scent does not constitute a defect. Keep in mind that some scents are 'lighter' than others and also does not constitute a defective item. If you are unsure of a scent, please ask us for a sample or order a smaller size. We do want you to be happy with your items, so please read and follow all burning and use instructions for maximum enjoyment, safety and performance of your items. We can help you with any questions, but unfortunately we cannot allow returns for items that are not used or burned in the manner we recommend.
DO YOU OFFER WHOLESALE PRICING or FUNDRAISERS? We do not currently have a Fundraising Program to speak of, however plan to in the near future. We do not have a wholesale pricing program, however if you are a retailer wishing to carry our items, you are welcome to call or email your inquiry. Since we are a small business and believe in "quality" over "quantity", we have to approve wholesale inquiries on a case by case basis in order to maintain high production standards. If you are a business and place an order for what seems likely intended for other than personal or aesthetic use, we reserve the right to cancel or limit your order if we feel uncomfortable with the manner in which the order was placed. WHAT IS YOUR PRIVACY POLICY? Privacy is important to us. You will never have to worry about The Bear Scentials selling or distributing your email address. We don't like spam either! So rest easy knowing that we safeguard your personal information as well as your email address. All banking and personal information is handled just as safely and securely. Our newsletter program is set up with the best security and anti-spam policies available on the internet.
DISCLAIMER: The owners of The Bear Scentials are in no way responsible for any accidents, adverse reactions, or damage to property that may occur from the use or misuse of our products. Warnings are present on each item and additional instructions can be found under the Care section on our website. Please review the warnings before using products and make sure each person within your household understands them. By placing an order with us, either online or verbally, you are accepting full responsibility for the proper use or our products.
